Outing Rock Creek Reservoir May 18th @ 8:00am

WCFF will be going to Rock Creek Reservoir for a day of great fly fishing on Saturday, May 18th at 8:00am. Rock Creek Reservoir is a holding water for irrigation in the local area during the summer. Fishing is at its peak in May and June. It is stocked well in the Spring but is generally fished out by early July as the water is drawn down and the water warms.

Note that there is a $10.00 day use fee per vehicle. The accessibility of the boat ramp varies with the season’s water levels. Also, check to be sure the campground is open before arriving. There is a nesting pair of bald eagles very close to the boat ramp and ODFW will lose the area if the chicks have not yet fledged.

A link is provided on the right hand side of this webpage for more information and directions to Rock Creek Reservoir.
